About Caroline Connor
A young artist currently pursuing her BFA in Studio Art at Appalachian State University. Caroline has always been particularly drawn to the intricacy of painting landscapes and seascapes, concentrating on the way we interpret the natural world. In recent years, she has been specifically practicing painting landscape scenes on-site. Truly appreciating the beauty of the space and turning it into a form of documentation. The connection gained from studying the space afterward is truly remarkable. Caroline has been more focused on creating accurate representations of what her eye sees, rather than “picture-perfect” paintings. As she continues to experiment with varying techniques and processes with each new painting, Caroline is excited to create more as she embarks on her artistic career.
